BIRTHDAY: January 19th
 

FAVORITE ARTISTS: I love Jimmy Buffett!  I have been a "parrothead" since I was 8 years old.  I love Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Dean Martin, The Beatles, Taylor Swift and I am loving The Zac Brown Band more and more each day.  I like Toby Keith and love Garth Brooks too.  I also grew up with classic country.  My parents loved Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton so I got to listen to classic country.  I like about every type of music.  I listen to country, top 40, everything.  Music is the soundtrack of life.

SOMETHING YOU’D BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT ME: I have been in radio for 20 years.  Also, I am the youngest of 10 children. 

FAVORITE THINGS TO DO: I love to spend time with my family!  My husband, Jim and I have 4 beautiful children, Olivia, 9, Gavin, 7, Alyssa, 5 and Gabriel, 3.  When I am not working, I am spending time with my family.  I am very close with my entire family.  We always find a reason to get together and do something.  And everything we do is a special occassion.  I have a wonderful family and terrific friends.  I also love being recognized wherever I go in our wonderful area.  We live in an amazing community.

FAVORITE PRO TEAMS:I hope I don't get picked on for this, but I have liked the Oakland Raiders since I was in middle school.  Sorry, Steeler fans, or should I be apologizing because we haven't heard much from the Raiders?  I love the Pirates (it has to get better, right?)  And I like the Pens.  As far as basketball, I would have to say the Bulls, but I don't follow pro basketball as much as high school basketball...We sure do have some great high school sport teams!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT HOUND COUNTRY: I love everything about Hound Country!  I love that everyone has welcomed me with open arms.  I feel like I have been at The Hound all of my radio career.  I love getting requests and calls and just getting to know the listeners and sponsors. 

IF I WASN’T IN RADIO I’D BE: I went to college to be a teacher, so I would think that I would be an elementary school  teacher.  But I went into radio at a very young age and can't think of doing anything else at this point. 

IF YOU COULD HAVE DINNER WITH ANYONE, WHO WOULD IT BE?  I have to say Jesus.  He has been been there for us through so much.  Our faith in Him has gotten us through so much.  If I had the chance, I would want to say thank you for making us stronger and for giving us another chance at life.
